Best Samsung Headphones 2024

With the original Galaxy Buds, Samsung recognized the growing popularity of earbuds and began seriously competing in this area. They were the greatest Samsung earbuds at the time, having been released in 2019. Since then, the company’s offerings have vastly improved.

Since then, Samsung has released truly wireless earbuds that have improved sound quality dramatically. Advanced features like as Active Noise Cancellation, Ambient Mode, Game Mode, and others are available on some models.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Truly Wireless are the greatest earphones we’ve ever tried from Samsung. The glossy plastic coating on these in-ears gives them a sophisticated appearance. Their active noise cancellation (ANC) feature does an excellent job of isolating you from background noise, such as the low rumbling of bus engines during your commute and workplace talk.

They’re well-built and offer a comfortable, solid fit, just like their predecessors. Their default sound profile is neutral, making it appropriate for a wide range of content and genres. If you have an Android device, you can also use a companion app to customize your sound with EQ settings. They have a ‘Game Mode’ that reduces latency on Android devices, and their latency on iOS devices is low, so they’re good for watching videos on your phone.

While the embedded microphone offers good recording quality, it struggles to isolate your speech from ambient noise, making you difficult to understand if you use it to take a call in a noisy area. Their battery life is disappointing, as they only last about five hours on a single charge. However, its case can carry up to three more charges, and you may use one bud while the other charges in the case, making it simple to recharge the battery when needed.

With the addition of ANC and Ambient Sound, you get two features that you’d anticipate from earbuds in this price range. The ANC comes extremely close to matching the Galaxy Buds Pro’s capabilities, however Ambient Sound falls short. The integrated microphones are fine, but not as good as those found in the Pro models, which is one reason why call quality isn’t as good.

Battery life may appear to be a step back from the Galaxy Buds+, but given the technology inside, it’s a respectable performance. Depending on volume levels, you can expect up to 7.5 hours with ANC turned off and five hours with it turned on. The charging case comes with three additional charges and may be charged through USB-C or wireless charging. White, graphite, olive, and lavender are some of the color options.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live – True Wireless, Active Noise Cancelling, Wireless Charging Case

  • Fashion forward Galaxy Buds Live complete your look.
  • Leading edge wellness technology that informs you.
  • Tune into every moment.

Whatever you think of the bean-shaped design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, these might just be the most inventive new true wireless earbuds of the year. They have an open design, like the normal AirPods, so you don’t have to squeeze an ear tip into your ear, and they’re quite comfy to wear and suit my ears better than the AirPods. They will not, however, fit everyone’s ears equally well. These wireless buds are unobtrusive, sitting flush with your ear without a small white pipe protruding from them.

They have high sound quality and may be used as a headset for making calls. They also have good background noise suppression, so callers can hear you clearly even in noisy surroundings.

While they have active noise cancellation, it’s not as effective as noise cancellation with noise-isolating earphones. To put it another way, buy them for their design and sound rather than their noise-cancelling capabilities.

Despite Samsung’s discontinuation of the Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds2, and Buds Live, you may still be able to find a pair of Galaxy Buds+. They’ve evolved into a more affordable option inside the same ecosystem, and they could still be useful if you’re seeking for a Samsung logo on a budget.

They may also continue to play the part of being the most at ease in the group. Samsung had done a good job of keeping the original Galaxy Buds’ form factor and only improving on it in a few crucial aspects to keep them viable even now. They don’t have ANC assistance, but they have excellent passive noise isolation and a light, comfortable fit. The audio quality is excellent, and the call quality is a significant advance over its predecessors. All of the accessible functions, including the EQ presets and Ambient mode, are still supported via the Galaxy Wearable app.

They’re also the longest-lasting per charge, with up to 11 hours of playback time depending on volume. An additional charge is contained within the case, bringing the total time to 22 hours. For added convenience, you may charge through USB-C or wireless charging. The Galaxy Buds+ are a good option if you’re on a budget and prefer a more classic look.

The Galaxy Buds Pro combine previous features with fresh tweaks to make the greatest wireless earphones the business has ever produced. Samsung spent a long time to get this level of performance, and there are several reasons why it worked this time. The design is similar to the Galaxy Buds and Buds+, with the exception that the somewhat larger frame means the fit won’t be as snug right away. They’re small and light, and the inside has a matte texture that makes them easier to hold. These earbuds are also the most durable Samsung has created in terms of water and perspiration resistance, with an IPX7 rating.

There’s enough technology within to justify the size. To keep ambient noise out, you have active noise cancelation (ANC) with two levels. Ambient mode now includes four filtering options for outside noise. Voice Detect, for example, reduces the level of the audio you’re listening to and switches to Ambient mode once you start talking, allowing you to speak without touching the earbuds or your phone.

By default, the larger drivers produce a clearer sound, but you can change this via the Galaxy Wearable app by picking one of the six equalizer presets. It’s just a shame you can’t edit it or make your own presets. Call quality is greater than ever, with consistent clarity and exceptional clarity. Whether you’re on the phone or listening to music, you have to be careful with the temperamental touch controls. The 360 Audio feature, which uses Dolby Head Tracking technology, is a first for Samsung’s earbuds, but it’s a cool effect for realistic 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound when watching shows and movies that are designed for it.

Battery life is one of the trade-offs for all of this. When ANC is turned on, it can last up to five hours each charge, and when it is turned off, it can last up to eight hours. The case can hold three additional charges and may be charged through USB-C or wireless charging. You can obtain up to an hour of listening by charging for five minutes through USB.
