These RYB Home Soundproof Curtains are among the best soundproof curtains for home studios. They don’t come in the most diverse choice of sizes and colors, but as our test is mostly focused on audio performance, this is a minor drawback. Although these are a three-layer curtain, the soundproofing layer is removable and attaches and detaches with hook and loop. Overall, the quality was excellent, and they looked fantastic on the wall.

Wontex blackout curtains are blackout and sound-deadening curtains for the home. The core layer, which is constructed of high density black yarn, provides sound insulation. The quality of the fabrication was good, and the 1.6″ grommets made it simple to hang. The total weight was a little more than 5 pounds.
The difference in ambient noise in the room was night and day once the curtain was hung. You’re getting a true sound reduction sheet with these drapes. They may not blend in as well as other soundproof curtains in a living room, but they provide some of the best sound absorption of any curtain. The only soundproofing curtain we tested was this sound absorption sheet. Because this curtain was created in the United States, the quality was as expected.
On each of the short sides, three hanging grommets were inserted, but they were all quite small in diameter. Although the sheet came with screws and a mounting kit, we discovered that small hooks can be placed through the grommets and then run over the rail for easy hanging.
When it comes to blocking noise from the outside, this Audiomute sheet was one of the finest performers. There was no audible traffic noise, no passers-by noise, and no bird noise — ideal if you’re looking for sound deadening drapes for recording. It also did an excellent job of limiting noise leakage to the outside. The music may still be heard, but it would no longer be an annoyance to passers-by or neighbors.

If you’re looking to regulate sound in a bigger location, this room divider curtain is a perfect alternative. It’s not only sound-dampening, but it’s also thermally insulating, so it can help you control the temperature in whichever room you put it in.
