Dolby Atmos Speaker Angle Calculator

Dolby Atmos 45° Geometry Rule

For four overhead speakers, target a 45° side-view angle (30°–55° range). Because tan(45°) = 1, the fore/aft offset equals ceiling height above your ears. For two overhead speakers, use top-middle placement near 80° instead.
