3 Tips To Stop Earbuds from Falling Out

Luckily, there are some things you can do to keep your buds where they belong without having to wear a mask 24/7. Here are six tips on how to stop earbuds from falling out so you’ll never have to deal with that ever again!

Tip #1: Wear The Right Fit
First and foremost, you need to make sure that you get a pair of earbuds that fit well enough for you to be able to move around while listening to music without them falling out. This will ensure that you aren’t putting any pressure on the inside of your ears, which could lead to an infection down the road. Also, check the length of each earbud because different ear sizes may require a different size of earbud to prevent the wires from rubbing against your ears too much. You should always choose the right size of earbud for yourself instead of assuming what size fits everyone else best. It doesn’t matter whether you have big or small ears; this tip applies to both men and women. So many people buy the wrong sized earbuds and then end up dealing with painful headaches after a few hours. Make sure that you get something that works for you first before you worry about the rest.

Tip #2: Keep Them Clean
When it comes to keeping your earbuds clean, one of the most important steps is making sure that you’re using the proper cleaning products for the material used by your headphones. For example, you wouldn’t use the same cleaning solution for stainless steel as you would for plastic, and you shouldn’t try to use household cleaners on either. Using these kinds of products could cause permanent damage to your headphones, so it’s crucial that you read the labels carefully before buying. Another key point here is that you should wash your hands thoroughly before touching your earbuds. After you’ve finished using them, simply rinse them under warm water and let them dry completely before storing them away safely. Don’t leave them sitting in water or let them sit wet overnight, especially since this can attract bacteria. When it comes to charging, it’s better to avoid wireless charging altogether. Not only does it increase the risk of bacteria growth but it can also cause damage over time. If you must charge wirelessly, at least opt for the lowest wattage possible (such as 1W) to minimize heat build-up. Finally, if you notice that the buds themselves seem dirty, gently wipe them down with a damp cloth or microfiber towel to remove dirt and dust particles. Just remember to use caution and follow all safety guidelines to avoid causing any damage.

Tip #3: Get Some Silicone Pads
While silicone earplugs can be uncomfortable at times, they are far superior to traditional foam earplugs. These earplugs feature an inner core made entirely of silicon that keeps them firmly placed in your ears while blocking out external noise. Plus, unlike regular foam earplugs, they won’t trap moisture in your ears and create an ideal breeding ground for germs. As long as you pick the right brand and style, silicone earplugs will work great for keeping your earbuds secure. In fact, some companies even offer their own special models specifically designed to keep your earbuds safe. But the good news is that there are plenty of other brands that offer quality options that you can purchase separately online. A good rule of thumb is to go for those that are specifically marketed towards musicians, DJs, and other types of people who spend lots of time performing. That way, you know that they’ll be comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time without worrying about damaging your hearing. They’re also easier to clean than standard foam earplugs. Lastly, it’s worth noting that you can actually use silicon ear plugs in conjunction with earbuds, so if you prefer wearing your buds over the top of them, this is a viable option. However, we recommend avoiding doing this unless absolutely necessary because the seal created between the earplug and your ear canal might be slightly less effective than if you were using only the earbuds.
