Best Soundbars for JVC TV 2024

JVC has a significant variety of sturdy and feature-packed televisions to their credit, ranging from flat to curved TVs, and from HD to UHD and 4K TVs. If you’ve ever done some window browsing for JVC TVs, you’ll agree that they’re also budget-friendly. Now, a good home entertainment experience entails more than just purchasing a JVC television. The flat-panel design, like those of other recent TV models, does not allow for powerful speakers. This explains why the built-in speakers on your JVC TV aren’t very good. A soundbar that is compatible with your JVC TV is required to complete your home entertainment experience. Unfortunately, not all soundbar models meet this condition.

Sony HT-A7000 7.1.2ch 500W Dolby Atmos Sound Bar

Sony HT-A7000 7.1.2ch 500W Dolby Atmos Sound Bar...
  • A wider sweet spot lets everyone have the best seat in the house
  • Sound Field Optimization calibrates to your environment for easy set up
  • Experience powerful, booming sound with the SW5 wireless subwoofer for use...

Sony has a good track record with soundbars, and the HT-A7000 soundbar, which won a What Hi-Fi? award in 2021, is no exception. This Dolby Atmos soundbar bundles two up-firing speakers, two beam tweeters, five front-facing drivers, and a built-in dual subwoofer into a single chassis, making it a 7.1.2 slab of sound. The Sony HT-A700 produces a broad and high soundstage, whether you’re watching immersive content or not, while maintaining musicality, presence, and detail, thanks to a mix of driver positioning and psychoacoustic approaches.

The performance is comparable to that of the Sonos Arc in terms of height and precision, but the soundstage width and forward projection are more convincing. It’s not quite the same as having direct audio from the speaker above or to the side, but it’s effective and visually appealing, adding to the whole viewing experience. With a taut, controlled, and powerful performance, the integrated sub is likewise a standout.

The A7000 excels in terms of audio formats supported, including Dolby Atmos (in both Digital+ and TrueHD versions), DTS:X, LPCM, hi-res wireless audio, and Sony 360 Reality Audio. With Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, and integration into a multi-room system – including Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Home – the A7000 is as packed with streaming smarts as it is with speakers.

There are ports for eARC, analogue and optical audio inputs, and USB type-A, as well as two HDMI 2.1 pass-through connectors capable of 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, and Dolby Vision HDR. There’s also an analogue output for Sony’s Acoustic Center Sync, which connects a compatible Bravia TV to the soundbar’s center channel via the supplied connection. The Samsung HW-R450 is a 2.1 channel soundbar that offers deep, theatrical soundscapes as well as a robust set of capabilities to those looking to improve their TV sound without breaking the bank. This is one of Samsung’s best entry-level soundbars. This soundbar has a lot of distinguishing features, the most notable of which being its form. The HW-R450 is rectangular in shape with a matte black finish, unlike most of the company’s soundbars, which are curved.

Samsung has managed to develop a dialogue soundbar that is appealing despite its low-key shape, allowing it to be hidden beneath your television. The front and rear are surrounded by a black mesh with metal borders. On the front, the company’s name is crested, and the touch-sensitive buttons are placed on top. In terms of connectivity, the HDMI input and output sockets on the back of the bar allow you to send through 4K and 3D images from a Blu-ray player. Auxiliary input and a USB port are also included. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream music from your smartphone or tablet to the bar.

Standard, Music, Games, Sports, Movie, and Night modes are among the sound effects EQ presets on the HW-R450, all of which are designed to optimize the sound output for the greatest experience. If you don’t want to manually switch between modes, you may use the auto-detect feature, which identifies what you’re watching and adjusts the volume accordingly.

The soundbar is also designed to function in unison with the TV, allowing you to control both the TV and the soundbar with a single remote using Plug-and-Play connectivity via wired or wireless connections. Alternatively, you can use the Samsung Audio remote app to control important functions on the soundbar.

Samsung may make a variety of items, but the business has had a bit of a run in the audio equipment sector throughout the years. Like its predecessors, the HW-R450 is a great performer. It produces clear sounds that allow users to experience powerful sounds with clear tones and deep bass that go beyond what they see on screens.

The soundbar is capable of handling almost any situation, as it seamlessly transitions from quiet to loud scenarios while keeping its immersive sound quality and adding punch to dramatic moments. Overall, this is a capable soundbar that performs admirably with minimal clutter and fuss. This is the Best Soundbars for JVC TV in 2023.

Sony HT-S350 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer

The Sony HT-S350 has a simple style that will appeal to you rather than turn you off. Except for the metal grille that covers the front face and some of the sides, the main unit is composed entirely of plastic. It’s 35 inches wide and less than two inches tall, making it small enough to fit under most televisions. Power, volume, Bluetooth, and source switching buttons are located on the faux leather top panel.

A variety of connectors for HDMI ARC, optical audio input, and the power adapter are located on the recessed region of the bar. The power wire is affixed to the bar indefinitely. Because there is no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth is your only choice for going wireless, which means you won’t be able to use streaming services like Spotify.

The HT-S350 is an entry-level soundbar with few functions, but it does offer a variety of modes, including Music, Game, News, Cinema, Sports, and Standard. There’s also the Auto Sound option, which automatically adjusts the bar for the greatest sound depending on what’s playing. There’s also a Night mode key for greater balance when the volume is turned down. The bar can play Dolby Digital and Dolby Dual Mono, but not DTS or Dolby Atmos. The HT-S350 produces some pretty loud sounds, especially when it comes to its meaty subwoofer, thanks to its 320 watts of power. It has a surround sound mode that is constantly on and influences the stereo soundstage. The sound occasionally becomes boxy and uneven, thus the performance isn’t completely ideal.

The sound output is fairly good for a simple soundbar and sub woofers, although finding the right balance can be challenging. Lowering the volume reduces the punch, while increasing the volume causes distortion. If you fiddle with the volume a little till you reach your optimal level, you can be guaranteed to enjoy some kind of immersion. The soundbar’s performance isn’t the best it can be, but it’s also not the worst in its price range.

Sonos Beam Gen 2

Sonos Beam (Gen 2). The compact smart soundbar for...
  • Enrich your entertainment experience with vibrant bass, crystal clear...
  • Experience a 3D surround sound effect with Dolby Atmos.
  • Stream music, radio, podcasts, and audiobooks over WiFi when the TV is off.

It’s an easy thing to provide Dolby Atmos from a compact chassis, but the 2021 What Hi-Fi? Award-winning Sonos Beam Gen 2 pulls it off with a compelling, immersive performance that doesn’t require a single vertical speaker. Instead, two of the soundbar’s five front-facing arrays are dedicated to replicating above and surround sounds when watching Atmos content. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 uses psychoacoustic HRTF (head-related transfer function) technology to offer the sensation of height without the need to get vertical, thanks to its powerful processing.

While actual overhead sounds may be a stretch for this small speaker, its simulated Atmos output outperforms any similarly priced soundbar, as well as a few that are more expensive. The Beam Gen 2 creates an enveloping, immersive experience with rich, realistic audio and tangible motion and depth.

Because this is a Sonos product, the Beam Gen 2’s ability to integrate into a wireless multiroom system is crucial to its design. This means you can use Apple AirPlay 2 to stream music to the Beam Gen 2 from a mobile device, and Spotify Connect is also built-in. A future update will add support for Amazon Music Ultra HD audio, allowing users to listen to lossless 24-bit/48kHz files as well as Dolby Atmos Music. Despite the lack of upward drivers, there isn’t a better Dolby Atmos soundbar that we’d suggest if space and affordability are constrained.

It’s tough to determine what has changed at first glance, since Polk appears to be following the old adage, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The bar’s body is constructed of plastic, with a mesh-like fabric covering the front side. The Polk Audio Signa S2 is only 2.1 inches tall, 35.4 inches wide, and 3.2 inches deep, so it should fit under your TV without being noticed.
